Who we are
This educational scholarship was created in honor
(memory) of Dr. Harold B. Rinker, who passed away
in 2012. He was a Veterinarian by trade, but he was
also a recovering alcoholic who celebrated 38 years
of sobriety before he died. His passion was helping
others upon whom society had given up. In his honor
(memory), Dr. Rinker’s family wanted to “give back”
and what better way to do that than to give a “hand-
up” to someone or something he was passionate
about.
We provide tuition scholarships to successful
graduates of the Washington/Madison County Drug
Court program.
